We started a week long tour of Utah National Parks at Arches, with home base as Moab.  We stayed in a hostel there (in a bed!) and cooked dinner in a kitchen (a kitchen!), which was pretty darn exciting.  We bore the oppressive heat to do a few short hikes to some pretty awesome rock formations.  We went out to Delicate Arch (ever see a Utah license plate? it's on there) for sunset, and the next morning out to a really long arch called Landscape Arch.  We decided that was enough time in the desert looking at some red colored rocks, and so we hit the road...
