Favourite photo? Nick: Squinting 'Booby'. Marissa: So many to choose from...hummingbird flying, Brazilian flag and us lying down infront of Machu Picchu

Best City?  Nick: Cusco (great food, scenery and safe too!) Marissa: I`m not such a city girl so struggle on this one, they are all equally nice...

Best Moment? Nick: Playing football at 4000m on my birthday. Marissa: Anticipation of leaving the Uk as we travelled down to London on the train to depart for the trip - can`t really pick out one other moment since then as there have been so many - maybe the Galapagos wildlife....but then Rio was cool for touristy stuff too....

Place felt most unsafe? Nick: Driving through Lima at 11:30pm....like The Meadows in Nottingham in certain areas. Marissa: Unsafe on the Galapagos boat...not from any danger just because of the Mosquitos!!!!

Best Food? Nick: Brazillian buffets and the Arab meal in Rio ...great value Marissa: I should say the Guinea Pig but it was a real faff for not alot of food - has to be the gorgeous food in Brazil - so much choice!

Nicks lasting memory of peru!

Worst food? Nick: Peruvian airport food....truly awful. Marissa: Didn`t much enjoy the food on the homestay but was too polite to leave any - not to offend!

Lowest moment? Nick: Wet and cold on day 3 Inca trek with another 6km to go. Marissa: Food poisoning on Day 1 of the Inca

Weirdest thing seen? Nick: Galapagos Sea Lions...it felt like WE were the attraction at the zoo. Marissa: Dead cock roaches scattered everywhere after fumigation at the Posada Amazonas lodge - like an elephant graveyard!

Most likely to re-visit? Nick:Chile...lots more to see and snow too!! Marissa: Amazon....in the dry season (lots more to see).

Best experience? Nick: Galapagos was awe inspiring. Marissa: How do you sum it up......Carnival night in Brazil, wine tasting with strangers, sleeping under the stars on Inca and with the bugs in Amazon and so many nice people everywhere

Hi guys Fantastic entries as always. Can't believe you have only been away for 4 weeks and have seen and done so much in that time. Shame you missed out with the weather in the Amazon, good excuse to go back! Your photos are amazing and make me want to just pack a bag and head on over to the airport passport in hand and get seeing some of this wonderful world we live in. Oh well, work tomorrow... Looking forward to your next chapter. Take care, Jen xx
