We drove up to Halls Gap to spend two nights. The drive up into the park is very impressive with mountains and forest. Just over year ago the area suffered a severe bush fire which you can still see evidence of. The trunks of the trees are all still black but the forest floor is green from re growth. Quite impressive to see.

Halls Gap was better then I expected. Beautiful forest areas with mountains, lakes and water falls. We also saw lots of wildlife including deer, lots of wild kangeroos, echinda and a possuum which was resident in the hostels vines.
