We arrived in Bruges early evening with absolutely no idea where to go from the train station...The bus driver could see the puzzled look on our faces and without question just said "you going to Snuffel?"  Relief came over us when we remembered that this was the name of our very interesting hostel.

Snuffel was not exactly a peaceful hostel as you had to walk through a smokey bar and techno music to get to the showers but it certainly had a lot of character...I think Hallie and I might have to get used to the hostel scene...we're not quite there yet.

get ready to drink lots of beer to pass the time.

We toured around the city at night looking for a recommended restaurant.  The next morning, when we set out to check out the sights of Bruges we realized that we had seen everything there was to see the night before!

Bruges is a beautiful little place with canals and bell towers but there just isn't much else going on.  We learned from this experience that Bruges is well recommended for 1 day only....and if you go get ready to drink lots of beer to pass the time.
