Berlin was absolutely fascinating!  The hightlight of this location was an 8 hour walking tour of the city that described and showed monumental moments of the Rise and Fall of Hitlers Third Reich, The sad stories of the Cold War separating West from East Berlin, and many other old and new sites throughout the city.  We stood on the top of Hitlers bunker during the war where he comitted suicide, touched the Berlin wall, passed by Checkpoint Charlie and walked through memorials for victims of the Holocaust.

During the other days we went to three museums, including the Pergamon, and saw works by Monet, Manet and Renoir.  We also kept ourselves busy at night by seeing a movie, the Black Dalia, in the Sony centre.  We went to see the Blue Man Goup, which was great but we were a bit lost during the German commentary.  We also checked out a couple of the bars located close to our excellent hostel called Circus.

This is the most interesting city we have been to so far.  Unfortunately we left after 4 days but there is much more of the city to discover.
