We decided to head North to Cologne to check out this bustling city on the Rhine River. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our hostel and enjoyed the comfort of having our own room for the first time. We checked out the sites, one of which was a beautiful cathedral in the middle of the city, and went for a jog along the river. We ate at a great Italian restaurant and shared a bottle of wine that cost us only 2§. It was nice to regroup after our busy weekend.
