Finally our last stop... Copenhagen.

The trip from Berlin to Copenhagen was toned down. Everyone knew that the end was nigh. It was fairly quiet sitting at the front of the ferry watching the huge waves of the Baltic Sea crash over the bow. Even the buses rumour mill was slowing down.

After a long trip we found ourselves in the same hostel as where it all began. Memories of the first day just came flooding back for me. It was hard to believe that it was all over.

We had dinner at Rosie MacGee's... an Irish pub serving Mexican food in Denmark. It's over-rated - and besides, they ripped me off the first day I was there (they didn't give me change from a 100 kroner note for a beer). Graeme and me had found that much better Mexican restaurant at the other end of town.

After returning back to the hostel, we stayed up for drinks... although several people had to turn in early because of early flights. Graeme made sure that everyone signed his esky - his souvenir to remember the trip by, and his pride and joy. By the time the party had died down, there was rubbish everywhere. I don't envy the person who had to clean that up.

The next day was sad... it was when most people were flying out. I'd made friends with so many people, and it wasn't fun knowing that some I may never talk to again. How do you say, "Have a nice life", without it sounding so final? For me, saying goodbye to Sheryl and Mike were the hardest. They'd really taken me under their wing so to speak, and they're both funny funny people.

Instead of staying around and drawing it all out, Graeme and me decided to go into the city and do some shopping. We were in the Mecca of Lego, and he wanted to get some for his nephew's. We also met up with some of the other guys, and drew up plans to meet later. After some hours of shopping Graeme, Chuck and me crashed in the hotel room for a while... we were all totally exhausted from the tour. It was all catching up on us... Graeme's eyes were yellow from his liver trying to cope with the amount he'd been drinking on tour.

That evening all of the remaining survivors met up at an Aussie pub. There was some interesting discussion - especially when everyone had to say the three people they fancied the most on the tour. There were some interests that the rumour mill wasn't aware of. After the pub we decided to go clubbing. We wandered around, and found the Viking Bar... where else would you go when you're in the land of the vikings? Well, it turned into a huge night. When that place closed, and were on the way back, we heard music coming from under a shoe store. It didn't take long for the guys to find the entrance to the club. And there we met with some of the locals, and we sort of tagged with them for the rest of the night. By then things were rather hazy for me... I was having trouble stopping myself from falling asleep on the spot, and also having a few drinks by then. Finally we called it a night, and went back and crashed in the hotel room.

The next morning Graeme, Chuck, and me weren't really feeling great. But we got up for a nice breakfast before catching a train to the airport. Even after a huge night out, Graeme impressed us with his ability to crack open another beer.

Then it was time to say goodbye to Chuck - who was a room mate for much of the tour, and an absolutely top bloke. Graeme and me are going to make sure we'll catch up with him again.

And then we boarded the plane to Amsterdam for our connecting flight to Malaysia - our holiday from our holiday before we returned to home and reality.
