Give me a B, Give me an I, Give me a G, Give me an M, Give me an A, Give me a C, What does it spell? Big Mac.. go get yourself a couple !
When we entered Missouri (Kansas City) as we were on the busy interstate Fwy, we couldn't stop to get a pic at the State line !

Coming into Kansas City was an eye opener. Roads criss crossing over everywhere, my navigational instructions assisted by Lois guided 'the hands across America' to our RV Park.
After driving all those flat and boring country roads like zombies, hitting Kansas City at night with a bezillion roads was a bit of a culture shock!
Anyway - because I missed the photo, I was annoyed. It's pretty hard to take a pic in the dark and navigate when you're speedin' down the busy interstate!

So this morning, we headed south to Arkansas just so we could enter Missouri again for a pic of the 'Welcome to Missouri' sign ! You can laugh.. but these are the things that people do with clearly far too much time on their hands !
Well.. this meant another cap! Alex is collecting caps from each state so we then had to drive further into Arkansa to buy a hat and then turn around, took the 'Welcome to Missouri' pic and continued on to St Louis.
This whole process added about 3 hours or so but you've got to get the sign right? Who said I was high maintenance? I'm holidaying in a bloody RV aren't I? Can't get any more 'real' than that if you ask me!

Oh before I forget.. when we were leaving Branson in the morning, we stopped at the Vintage Car or Classic Car sale lot.. wow.. some real beauties in there.. you've got to look at the photos. I thought about Steve today and how much he would have loved to see these cars. I'm sure he'd have spent a whole day there looking at all the cars. It's been 10 years now and I still think of him :(.. often !
Arrived in St Lous around 5ish or so, had dinner and watch some TV.. Blah Blah Blah.. tomorrow.. a day at the mall ! :)

Sunday, November 30, 2008 - St Louis, Illinois
Hopped in a cab and spent the day with Charlie at the St Claire mall! Looked at makeup, bought something for our new nephew, had the nails done, got a pedicure and then we both had a facial and grabbed some lunch.
The boys hit the train and went to see a gridiron game. St Louis Rams Vs the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins won, poor ole rams haven't managed to win a game this season.
Greg said that when the cheerleaders came on, they were sporting six packs, and Al (our class clown) was saying things (quiet little voice.. yeah right) like "Dad, those girls are too skinny" and "Man, that girl needs a feed, throw them some Mc Donalds and get some meat on her". Needless to say, he was entertaining most of the people within proximity !

Started to snow when we left the mall. Got back around 730 or so and the boys were back hours before us.
Al was explaining to Greg how the game goes. He watches it on Foxtel all the time! His fave team is the NY Giants and he's convinced he's going to get them to sign a ball for him when we get to NY!
Unfortunately Baseball is finished being the Winter and all.. Even I would go to see the Boston Red Sox play !
One thing about their malls - there are no supermarkets in the mall.. you know.. food shopping! If you want groceries, you go to the food store.. usually on the other side of the highway! Wierd if you ask me! Anyway, we did Sears, Macys, JC Penny and all things american !

Got a hundred and one hints from Miss Charlie for Xmas.. It appears Madame wants to start a perfume collection! Oh Joy ! Sorry Ozone layer - my daughter is becoming a teenager!
As long as Lynx is no longer popular when Al 'comes of age'.. I can't stand that stuff !
