The sun shone above their heads as they treked along the rocky path out to Mount Doom. Master Greg was feeling weak though, he had been carrying the water for too long. "Don't give up, Greg" Cried young Jake. "We're nearly there." "I can't" Greg struggled, "I can't carry on" "No" Jake protested again. "Here, carry the water for me. You can do this. I beleive in you" "I can't carry the water master Greg" Jake said, his eyes filling with tears, "But I can carry you".

Today we went for a walk around Mount Cook which is the Lord of the Rings is actually Mount Doom! Now I don't like the lord of the rings so if there are any inacuracies in the passage above, its because its not a mock of LOTRs, it actually happened. On our walk. This morning. I promise.

Find the ring master frodo!

I do like big mountains though and that is exactly what this was. The drive there was amazing for the views in itself. The walk this morning sort of topped it off with swing bridges over canyons and huge mountains (obviously the biggest being Cook).

Then... we left. Because there is nothing else to do there other than look at the mountains. Completely worth it but now we are in Lake takapo. (Whcih when said aloud sounds like 'take a poo').
