· From our car park in St Clears, we found a lovely little town called Carew. Here we walked around an ancient castle on the most beautiful day. Everyday we spent out of London so far has been perfect weather wise. We then headed towards some little villages along the lakes in the area, and found the most perfect spot in West Williamston. Every time we drive down the little off roads there has been a little gem at the end. By midday we had found our campsite for the day/night, plenty of fresh air and green grass. We went for a walk straight away, Kev with a beer and Jules with a wine. We ended up at a national park which we accessed through a paddock with horses – what a crack up!! Back home (Camper) we did a cook up and set up the chairs overlooking the paddock chock full of mulberry trees. Then the fun began with our first outdoor solar shower – how fun was that!!! Lucky there wasn’t another sole in site, just us 2 and our lilly whites shining underneath our mock-up shower curtain. Kev took Plugger on a 16km journey to replace an empty gas bottle and Jules caught up on some reading. We spent the afternoon picking mulberries and then playing Yatzee by candlelight after dinner. A ripper day had by all!!
