Tuesday morning we slept in until 11:30 as we were both in need of much sleep. At 1:00 p.m. Elizabeth and I met up with Jimmy, Nicole, Richard and Marissa for lunch. The rest of our group stayed in Santorini for one more day. Since Jimmy had a specific place in mind for lunch but inaccurate directions we spent nearly an hour wandering around the Plaka, the old city, until finally deciding on a random restaurant. After finishing lunch we decided to visit the Olympic Stadium. We expected to view the old historic one; however, we were all surprised when we got off the metro at the brand new facilities used for the 2004 Athens Olympics. After a brief touring of the grounds we all went our separate ways. Elizabeth and I attempted to enter the Parthenon only to find that it closed at 5 p.m. Therefore we basically spent the early evening wandering around the circumference of the Parthenon as well as the Plaka. At 7 p.m. we met up once again with Jimmy, Nicole, Marissa, and Richard for dinner at a restaurant recommended by Dr. Perrin. We ate a long delicious meal there and then as usual went back to our hotel and crashed.

After finishing lunch we decided to visit the Olympic Stadium.
