Where better to escape a rainy Saturday in Nice than the "Salon du Vin et Gastronomie".  In short - pay three euros and taste delicious wines, cheeses, sausage and other fun treats.  We were chatting it up with the vendors and ended up buying 40euros worth of sausage!!! (split between 4 people).  We tried some pate that I immediately thought smelled like cat food and was hesitant to try it.   I later found out it was duck fat - not sure that's any better than cat food!  However, we did find some delicious fruit wines, nougat, and we sipped on some traditionally made champagne! Delish!  Now that's what I call discovering french culture!

We ended up buying 40euros worth of sausage!!!
