Drove from Anchorage to Seward in the rain.  Very tricky driving around Turnagain Arm, wind and rain and narrow winding roads.  We stayed at Bear Creek Campground 6 miles north of Seward.  We were supposed to go on an all day cruise from Seward, but with the weather, we decided to take a four hour dinner cruise instead with Major Marine Tours. www.majormarine.com

We left the dock at 6PM in the rain and rode very choppy waters around Resurrection Bay.  We saw two bald eagles, several Stellar seals and many  gulls, puffins, and cormorants.  We had a very interesting Ranger on the trip who told us what we would see on a clear day and pointed out the sights we could see.  When we arrived back at the dock at 10PM, it was starting to get dark, it was 41 degrees and raining.  Our fleece lined raingear felt good.

A Four hour tour!!
