This horoscope of my birth month appeared in early November in one of the local weekly newspapers -

Welcome to the planning stages for my 13 month journey around the world. And yes, that gentle reminder did hit home...the tickets were paid for that week.

My travel plans are as follows:

3 January 2002 - fly out of LAX... 5 Janaury 2002 - arrive in Taipei, spend a week in Taiwan 12 January 2002- fly to Delhi - spend about 4 months in India May 2002 - fly to Myanmar (Burma)- spend 28 days (maximum visa time) June 2002 - fly to Bangkok (stay couple of weeks, get Vietnamese visa) Mid June 2002 - fly to Ho Chi Minh City - spend a month.../ Mid July - leave Noibai (Hanoi), fly back to Bangkok - next couple of months overland travel thru Thailand and Malaysia... Mid-September - fly out of Kuala Lumpur to Denpasar, Bali Early October - fly from Bali to Turkey... ...Turkey...then overland to Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary - planning to spend Christmas Budapest...then westward, probably flying home from Paris January/February, 2003 - home...
