Day 25: Trying to Avoid Hiking!!

Whoa my body ached today!  2 days Hiking has taken it out of me!!

After breakfast we were dropped off on the Valley floor and told we could spend the day as we liked!  Everyone else went off on a hike, but I was too knackered, so I decided to spend the day exploring the bottom (flat) bit of the valley!   First I went to the Yosemite theatre, which shows a documentary about the history of the park. The photography of the documentary was amazing, but the only thing that let down the whole thing was the cheesy american comentry over the top of the video.

Next I went off to the Indian Village, where there is a replica Native indian village, so I had a wonder round there, read all the plagues about the history off the placew and took a few snap. Then I headed over to the museum which was pretty interesting but very small!

To be honest the rest of the day I just wondered around the Valley Basin, taking it all in!

When we got back on the bus we drove for a while then stopped for dinner before heading off again, to make our way back to San Fransico.   We stopped at a proper Saloon on the way back and got pissed!   I should the bar man (and the whole bar) my necking trick, and was given a 5 pint pitcher free for the effort!  See it does work!   Some got more pissed than others!  Jay the irishman needed to be carried back to the bus, which was funny!!

We got back to the bus about 2am, then headed off again to San Fransico!  The last thing I remember was the headlights of the bus failing, so we had to pull over!  I then went to sleep!
