A pass on our way around the crater of the volcano

WE shared a taxi with some fellow hostelers and summited the local volcano. No longer active but a few fumaroles exist which will steam up your glasses. The temperature in Granda is about 86 degrees. The summit of the volcano was about 10 degrees cooler.

You guys are amazing! You look like you are having a great time. Keep the pics and info coming. How old is the volcano and do you know if anyone is studying it? Why is it no longer active?
