Emma has been training for the past few months for one very special event...the Half Ironman. I flew up to the Gold Coast to join the support crew and help celebrate Emma's amazing acheivement.
The triathlon involves a 1.9km swim in the shark invested river (luckily they clear out the bull sharks), a 90km bike ride and a 20km run. Emma showed determination and strenght throughout the race and I was incredibly proud of her. Not only did she take off 30 mins of her predicted time she also beat all of the boys she went up there with!

She has just booked herself into the full Ironman in April!
