So back to New Orleans. For me, the last time I was here was 2 months after Katrina during Christmas just to see what was going on. Hope it’s nicer now! We got out of Houston late (go figure!) and Tracy, me and The Boys were on our way! Not too much traffic for Labor Day. We dropped off the dogs at my parents. They sure do like the backyard! We actually made our dinner reservations for Conchon in time. It was really good! Cajun but not the fried traditional type. Checked in our hotel which has a great location. We are literally 50 feet from Bourbon St. Tracy was really tired so we just walked up and down Bourbon once. We were sober on Bourbon street… trust me, we were the only ones! Oh and we picked the Southern Decadence weekend to come to New Orleans. Gay weekend! HA! I have to say while it wasn’t too crowded there are a lot of people here. Nice to see New Orleans coming back. We’ll at least the tourist areas.
