I have tried to upload some photos, but unfortunately I have put them all in my first entry, so please check them there. I love it here in Huaraz, the mountains are very beautiful, except there is a strike in town now so we cannot do much. All the stores are closed and there are no buses running.

I went up to a lodge over the weekend and stayed there for 3 days, it was amazing. There are no other houses around the place, it is surrounded with mountains from all sides. it is on 3700 meters and I was suprisingly feeling good up there. I didn´t have any altitude sickness.

On the second day, we set out to climb to a lake called Churup which is on 4400 meters. It took us 4 hours to get up there, it was the hardest hike I ever did. It was steep going up and also we had to climb a huge wall of rocks, which was a bit scary. By the time we got up there I was very tired, but the wiew of the lake made the trip definetely worth it. The lake is surrounded with mountains with glacier snow on them, it was a very beautiful view.

The day after that, I didn´t do much since I was very tired. It was very relaxing up at the lodge, there are very few cars driving by, so it is very peaceful.

I have really enjoyed my stay up there.
