Leaving Mui Ne we used the second sector on our open bus ticket to take us to Nha Trang. This trip is 270km and takes about 5 hours. Nha Trang is on the coast and has a beautiful white sandy beach stretching 6km.

20000 Dong ($1.80NZ) hires you a sun lounger under a thatched umbrella for the day. Vendors selling nearly everything cater to you every need. All you have to do is relax and stroll to the water for a swim when the mood takes.

After a couple of days relaxing on the beach we decided to explore a little. We went on a Boat trip to 4 islands. The trip included snorkeling, eating, sunning and a visit to an island aquarium. All in all a very good day out and all for $6us. The boat crew cooked a smorgasbord lunch for us and then proceeded to produce instruments for a sing along before opening a swim up bar serving local red wine. I thought it tasted great but others thought otherwise, anyway after a few everyone was having a great time. All this is included in the price. All in all a great day out.

The next couple of days we plan to go explore the island connected to Nha Trang by gondola which has a resort and theme park, and a city tour by motorbike before flying to Danang on thursday.
