The women here are simply stunning, beautiful, amazing, fantastic, georgous and every other word to describe beauty :o) Cordoba is a big university town with a population of just over a million. We had heard infamously from friends of how hot the student population was and hence our motive to come. Now that we're here and loving the place, myself & Kev have decided to do a Spanish course (instead of Buenos Aires). We could say it makes more sense financially (it's much cheaper here to study & live) but any man in his right mind would do likewise :o)

I truly love Cordoba! Not just because of the women but also the place itself. And I think our hostel has a big part in it. You come home and it feels like home. You know everyone (the hostel sleeps about 20) and it's like one big happy family. Every night you have dinner (which is always great food) and it spoils you. So, it's really down to the people. We're in a 4 bed dorm with 2 great guys, Martyn (Amsterdam) & Daniel (London). We're having a right laugh together. Also, the staff in the hostel are fantastic. They usually always drink and come out with u; which we've done this week Wednesday to Saturday. It's been tough but so much fun. Just to say Saturday night, when your looking at the photos, was the most oppressively hot, sweatiest night of my life. Everyone was sweating unbelievably - foreheads, hair soaked, tops, everything :o) Wednesday night was a great occasion. Myself & Kev had a few social Quilmes in the hostel each of the few nights before but had retired relatively early promising we'd have a big one Wednesday and get everyone smashed. That night, we organised a few drinking games of Kings (a game we learnt in Oz involving cards, rules, drink & a jug) before we went out. Everyone had a great night and sure to our word got mightly drunk :o)
Studying Spanish in Cordoba and the highs and lows of travelling..

The nightlife is amazing here (when I think of places back home I laugh). The clubs, music, atmosphere (and of course the girls) - it's another level. Aside: the measurements they give you in your drinks. When you order a vodka & redbull - the vodka is about 7/8 of the glass. Crazy! :o)
The Spanish lessons have been going well. Four hours a day though is quite tough so after this week, I think we will keep it up but not as many hours per day. Myself & Kev could be seen going back to school with a notepad, pencil & eraser plus a red lunchbox containing some cheesy sticks, a jam sandwich and a ribena hehe.

The highs and lows of travelling. The highs - coming to a place like Cordoba and meeting the people we did. The lows - last night I got my day bag robbed from the bus station. A nice scam was pulled and alot of my valuables were taken - my iPod (how am I going to live without it with all this travelling ahead) and my new camera, phone, hoodie, rain coat, some cash etc. They got me good :o) Thankfully they didn't get my passport or plane tickets (and I had just uploaded all my photos). Or Kev's bag, which was beside mine, as he hadn't yet put his passport in his pocket. We're pretty mad at ourselves. I think we got a little complacent after enjoying ourselves and being imersed around such great people in the hostel. It was like we weren't meant to leave here. The previous night we had gone to the bus station as well, only to wait around 4-5 hours, being mis-told that our bus was just late and would turn up. It never did. We returned to the hostel around 2am and checked in for another night.

So after saying goodbye to everyone in the hostel (again) we left Cordoba. Time permiting I could easily spend alot here. It's a great place. I'm sad to say goodbye..
