Nha Trang! Now talk about my kind of place! Its all about suds and sun here my friends! Our first day was spent going to the That Ba mud baths! I have never soaked in a mud bath before but it was awesome. Its like one of those things you always want to do as a kid, but your parents never let you. Then we soaked in hot spring mineral water. Ahhh...relaxation central. Than we basked in the sun. But not to let ourselves be to spoiled, we chose to walk the two hours back to our hotel. This of course meant that we had to turn down approximately three million offers for a motorbike ride. Its like geez people...is it so hard to believe that two westerners would rather walk for miles? It was actually quite great because we walked through some side villages where it was just locals hanging about. When you zip by on a motorbike, you miss the actual feeling of walking amidst the people. The vendors don't even hound you to buy anything. Its wonderful.

Day two: Party Boat. At this point you can call me a big fat tourist, because thats all this is meant for. But we haven't let loose in a while so we figured why not. It was great! Floating bar, music, dancing, snorkeling and good company. We visited a few islands and darkened our tans. Sometimes I get caught up in thinking about the huge responsibilities that await me at home, but an afternoon like this usually does the trick!

Ahhh....relaxation central.

Finally, I went on two day dives on our final day. I was disappointed with our depth but the coral was nice. Its actually a bit sad because much of the reef is being destroyed by irresponsible divers. I enjoy the fish and coral, but I desperately want to do wreck dives. I may have to invest on my advanced diving license in South Thailand in a couple of weeks, much cheaper than in California. We'll see. While I went diving for the day, Rach had a "Rachel Day." Meaning, she got a 2 hour facial and a haircut. I should cut my hair, but i'm tempted to see how long i can let it grow out. To donate my hair, I have to have at least 9 inches to cut off. Not sure if i can grow it out that long, but like all things in life....everything is worth a shot!
