Puerta Madryn is a busy coastal town and the jumping off place to visit Pennisula Valdes. The Peninsula is home to a variety of sea life and at certain times of year it is possible to see pods of whales at close quarters... unfortunately that time of year had just finished by the time i arrived with Elaine and Paul. We did however see Sea Lions fight, Elephant seals who seemed in some blubber preservative coma and lots of Penguins and sea birds. Fairly interesting stuff, but only for a day or so and soon we were heading south again and accross to Chile and Torres Del Paine.
