Prince Edward Island; Charlottetown to Cavendish

Day 3 - rained all day! Got the ferry over to PEI and drove to a beach. The sand is red clay everywhere. Apparently there are 76 lighthouses here so we had a look at a few. That night stayed over in Charlottetown, cute little town. Went out for dinner and had some drinks at a pub there, a cover band was playing. Coronas were on special.
Day 4 - Cavendish! Home of Anne of Green Gables. Went on the most awesome bike ride ever through a national park there, past the coast, alongside rivers and through shady woods, past wheatfields filled with colourful lupin flowers. That lasted for an hour and a half, then we checked out Anne's house from outside. It cost to go in so me and one girl sneaked in through the exit which was no big deal and had a look at the garden and the Haunted Walk. I wanted to do the walk but no-one else did so we travelled on, went to a beach to play frisbee and do nothing. Then the bridge - it spans 14 ks over the ocean and is the 2nd longest bridge to go over the ocean in the world, the other being in Norway. It was weird driving over it. Flew through New Brunswick and back to Halifax.
