A weekend in Manchester

After over a month of staying in London, Chelle and I decided it was time to do something on the fairly cheap side...  So we caught a bus to Manchester for the weekend, not really knowing what to expect and after the 6 hour bus ride we didn't really even care.

We arrived in Manchester at about 9:30pm and after dragging our luggage around we finally found our hostel and headed out to find some food.  Neither of us were really in the mood to go out so we headed back to the hostel so we could tour the city the following day.

After about an hour of walking around Manchester we realised there was not really alot to see.  We went on the mini Manchester eye and had some pretty good views from the top then we subsided to doing a spot of shopping before buying some cheap vodka and a couple of packs of cards to have a shithead challenge.  The outcome of Manchester, unless you want to go out and party, don't bother!!!

In saying that it was good to get out of London for something different...
