Wow! What a week! I had soo much fun but beleive it or not I didnt gamble and I only went out to clubs on ONE night!
We stayed at the Tuscany. It was nice but off the strip. The rooms were big and clean....Waiting for a cab was a pain for most of the trip but not TOO bad.
Friday- 4th
Little White wedding chapel- We went and checked this place out! It's FAMOUS! Britney Spears got married here... Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, and a few other famous peeps too! We had so much fun just being silly and posing with the surroundings. Fun stuff. We also had a Margarita at the dive bar next door. (can't remember the name?)... The margarita was VERY GOOD!
Pics with the vegas sign- It is located in the middle of the road with traffic on both sides. We had the cab driver take pics of us. He cut the sign out of the pic in the first two. DOH! Then we asked him to take a few more WITH the sign and the sign was a little bit far away.... anyhow. The pics came out cute anyway!
Shopped at The Premium Outlets. While I won't say it was an AMAZING experience. Atlanta shopping is much better.... I did have a GREAT time and the deals were great! I bought perfume, cologne, tees, jewelry, and shoes! I really didnt spend too much either!
Rainforest Cafe - I have been to one before and like usual... I LOVED it! I am a big kid and I was sure to check out all of the "wildlife" and while all of them don't move... I found out... VERY few don't.... hehe. We sat near the big elephant which moved and stomped while we ate. Also a growling tiger (fake of course) wagged it's tail on a cliff nearby. Awesome atmosphere! The safari soup is my favorite! Also try the VOLCANO for dessert! It comes with a sparkler!
730- 800-Mirage - signature volcano- Very fun. We walked up in the middle of the eruption so I missed the photo ops but still cool when it's not errupting!
830- 900 - Belagio fountain- My Favorite thing in VEGAS! I could watch the water dance for hours! It's entrancing!
Madame Tussauds (Venetian)- Very fun. Unfortunately my battery died around this time but the wax figures looks so real! We sat with Hugh heffner, played golf with Tiger woods, basketball with Shaq, Poker with Ben Affleck.... etc. Also the LIVE MONSTER part is short but SOO FREAKING scary!! OMG I almost peed myself.
Margaritaville - I was dissapointed. The food was okay but the atmosphere sucked and the crowd was mostly muffin topped local high school kids. Also the Maragarita was good but VERY weak...
Saturday- 5th
12:30 - 2- Spa Elemis- I must be spoiled because I was not impressed. We paid ALOT to get a "well being" couples massage and the girl hardly touched me. I felt like ...okay so I am prepped, when is the REAL massage?? lol It was okay. Maybe we picked the wrong type of massage. Next time I am ordering the DEEP TISSUE.
Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge - WE LOVED THIS PLACE! What an awesome idea. The drinks were AWESOME! I had an apple martini! The music was hip and trendy. The whole restaurant was mermaid themed... jellyfish like lights, fish tail chairs, fish tables, fin shapped menus, etc. The mermaid show was fun and tranquil. We wanted to stay longer!... oh and the desert... Brownie and Ice cream.... OMG.Soo good.
Gondola Rides - We went there but the line was SOOOO long that we skipped it! We watch people ride down the canal and also checked out other entertainment at the Venitian. Lots of fun!
Zumanity- This was great! Right up my alley! Drag queens, acrobats, and all kinds of crazy stuff. It was sexual humor with a fun twist! You must go see it! I saved some confetti that falls from the ceiling!
Playboy Party @ Rain - We came, we saw, then we got the hell out of there! OVERRATED BIG TIME! It was dark crowed and the music SUCKED. We caught the end of the fashion show and Hugh Hefner was up on stage. We spoke to Vanessa for a minute or two... but we waited an HOUR in line for this?? I won't go back.
We ended up hanging out in the casino with my friend Desiree and a few of her friends and saw Andrew Jones and hung out with him for a while, then went to Ghost bar.... which too in my opinion is over-rated. The girls were rude and the guys were tools... music was OKAY... I was ready to go home.
P.S. This is the ONLY night we went out.
Sunday- 6th
Horse back riding ..> - We were a little worried at first. Overall I had a great time. It's hard to mess up horseback riding, but we didn't get everything "promised" when we paid online. We were promised a free pic framed.... never happened. A dream catcher... nope..... BBQ dinner.... nope again....... Marshmellows by the fire..... Nope...... singing cowbys..... nope... so to sum it up ... we got ripped off..... I still enjoyed the beautiful land and riding my horse... Her name was "Hope" and she used to be a race horse... she kept wanting to jump line and lead....lol
