It was 8 o'clock at the morning when we arrived to Stockholm. The first things we saw were some industrial buildings, but the city looked marvelous from the very beginning.
We were shown the city hall first. It looks like it was built in middle centuries (I didn't think so, but most of our group did), but in fact it was built in 1929 if I'm not mistaken. Nearby we saw a litle horse with "Stockholm" letters on it, it's considered to be the symbol of the city and every tourist takes a picture with it when he comes to the city.

I'm sorry I don't write anything about the history of the countries and cities I've been too; I think that impressions are more interesting to read and I'm afraid to make lots of mistakes in historical facts. There is lots of historical information while the impressions always differ.
What I found really beautiful - it were Stockholm's narrow streets. We have been to the most narrow street, 2 people hardly can stand near to each other there. It's a wonderful impression, like you're back to the old centuries. We've also seen the smallest monument in Sweden which is only 12 cm high. Everyone should leave a coin because the legend says it will bring you happiness. So we did, and we were brought happiness because all that journey was happiness.

We were shown the restauraunt where the Nobel Prize winner had their breakfasts/dinners. It's a magnificient feeling, when you stay there and realize that some years ago great and world famous people were there, stood there and were having fun there:)
We were given some time to walk on the streets or to visit some museums, but we mostly just walked or... had shopping. We also visited Skansen, an open-air mixture of a zoo and a museum. Lots of Scandinavian animals are represented there and lots of small houses in old-age style are there. Skansen is very big and we didn't have enough time to visit all the places and to watch all the animals, considering that there were elks...which made me stay near them for a long time, as they are my favourite animals!

What can be better than watching the other city, espesially when this city is the capital of Sweden? It always makes us upset when we have to leave the place we like, but there is no chance to stay any more... So we left Stockholm and moved to Norway, the next country we were going to see.
