Well, there have been very few times in this life that Gevaar has lowered the tone  by using vulgar language but he  could not help it. No other word would describe what he had stumbled upon. On the coast of Southern Brazil, an amazing little island called Florianopolis,  Gevaar (not generally known for being much of a religious superhero) found what he can only describe as paradise.

However, this is not all he found there for he has also found a new syskop, el Bruce "the latest sensation to hit the superhero world since Hotgirl in 1975", or at least that was what his CV said. But the Gevaar was pleased, he had been looking for a syskop and el Bruce seemed to be just what the doctor ordered.

Well, thought Gevaar, "dit sal nie maklik wees nie", there was a whole island to scout out for evil, there were at least 50 beaches on which it might be hiding and Gevaar decided not to rest until every single one of them had been scoured. The first night he spent sleeping on the beach, under the stars next to a hearty campfire, just to get the feel of things in this strange new land, and get the feel of things he did, for no sooner had he laid down than he was set upon by a scantilly-clad bikinied (you know those eensy-weensy ones they wear in Brazil) Brazilian. Of course, being a gentleman, he let her get away with only a light romping, he had to save his energy for the more serious adventures that were surely still to come.

The next day, Gevaar awoke and just let rip with his very special cry, generally reserved for incredibly special occasions, like when Ma Gevaar makes his favourite "ysde kaaskoek". The yell of "ONBEVOKLIK" echoed through the mountains, it sang out across the valleys and hopefully landed in the ears of those who know a good adventure when they see one, for it was indeed true Gevaar had had his first taste of South American adventure and had found it decidedly to his liking.
