Met Jamie and Paul in Tulum as they left Mujeres the day before me and were going to go to Playa del Carmen before coming to Tulum.  We spent the next morning searching for a Cabin on the beach.  Most of the places seemed to be completely derelict and almost totally buried in sand but we found a decent place right on the beach and moved our stuff in.  In the 3 hours it had taken to walk up and down the beach both Jamie and Paul had turned a really nice shade of red and spent the next couple of days hiding from the sun and whining!

There was a Full Moon Party that night at a place further down the beach.  It was pretty good with a live reggae band and a lot of people.  They ran out of beer at midnight though and the replacement beer was warm and not that good.

Spent the days lounging on the beach.  Bumped into a few people from Mujeres and ended up moving back to the hostel in town as there was just no nightlife on the beach.  The day we moved back though we found out that there were going to more parties on the beach.  Typical!  Still, I had a good time in Tulum and went out for a lot drinks and games of pool with Rob, Jamie and Paul.
