Disneyland Paris
From Disneyland Paris in Disneyland Paris, France on Oct 06 '05
Having visited the resort twice I can honestly say our experiences were different on each trip.
We visited Winnie the Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood. Had some dinner with Mickey & Minnie and rode the superfast Rockin Rollercoaster (my favourite ride in the whole of the resort)
We shopped in the village and got a few souvenirs. You gotta check our Anettes Diner while you there too. The waiters/resses serve you on rollerskates, hotdogs are not bad either.
There is no good time to go cos whenever you go there is always something going on. The first time we went was in December when the Village had their Christmas market out. That was quite fun, they had chocolate covered marshmallows and strawberries, mulled wine and other christmas-y bits and bobs. The second time we went was in October for Halloween. The Halloween Villan parade was quite cool. Some of the characters interact with the crowd. I had King John trying to steal my camera, while I was taking the picture! You also get two new characters as well during this period, the Pumpkin Men and the Pink Witches. Apparently the Pumpkin Men want to paint the park orange to go with the Halloween theme, but the Pink Witches want to take over too and do lots of mischievous things along the way.
Both times we visited we stayed for a maximum of 3 days, which is more than enough time. On the third day we were struggling finding something to do as we had done nearly everything already.
We will definitely visit again, but most probably in Summer, just to see what it is like around then.
