Off to Oregon in less than two weeks!

It's hard to believe that I am off to Oregon in less than two weeks. As I gather my supplies, I continue my countdown until my departure. Backpack... Check! Tent... Check! Hiking boots... Check! Mask and Snorkel... Check! Notebooks and Pencils ...huh? Oh yeah... I forget sometimes that I am going off to school. But I mean how cool is that- I get to travel the world and still receive an ecucation at the same time! Instead of a huge brick facility with hundreds of kids running around where I am just another face, I get to attend a school with a total student body of 8! And even though I may not be learning in a typical classroom setting, I get to learn along the beaches of Central America... who could really complain against that? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity! You only get to live life once! Why not have a little bit of fun?... I will continue to keep in touch as I pack and follow my countdown.
