Ciao Ciao! So this past week was my first week of classes. I am taking Fashion Marketing, History of Italian fashion, Fashion and Retail Buying Concepts, sewing and Italian. I LOVE all of my classes. All of my professors are very laid back and easy to understand. In my sewing class we had a substitute so I have yet to meet my instructor. The sub said that our instructor, Guido, couldn't make it because he had to go to court? Haha so I don't really know what all that was all about. Kind of sketchy... But these little bizarre occurrences are starting to become the norm for me. People are very different in Florence. The Italian men are very forward and never hesitant to compliment you. This is something I guess I will just have to get used to.

The clubs here are not really my type of scene. Brittany and I usually go meet up with our other sorority sisters before we go out on the weekends. We all prefer the pubs because they have more Americans and less creepy Italians trying to dance with you. If we do go to a club it is usually with our guy friends who get a table in the VIP section, so we can be secluded from all of the Italian creepers. Haha. On Tuesdays we decided that we will be going to this bar called Be Bop to see this Beatles cover band. Last Tuesday they were amazing. Anyways, tomorrow (Monday) is the one day of the week I have the apartment to myself, so I will be able to start in on some of the homework I received last week. Last Monday I got really bored and went for a run down the Arno, so I think that I am going to make that a weekly thing. Try to run off some of that gelato... hah.

Sorry I don't have much exciting news, but I promise to have a more interesting blog after skiing in Interlaken this weekend! Oh that reminds me (Mom don't freak out). I am thinking about going sky diving while I am in Switzerland! There are quite a few of my friends doing it so, we will see. The thought is somewhat terrifying but you only live once right? Haha. Alright, well it is getting close to my bedtime and I need to get some sleep in order to recover from this past weekend. Talk to you all later! Ciao!

Sky diving! AH!! I've always been scarred of heights. Live your wildest dreams though, I support them what ever they are. I can't imagine what flying in the air like that would be, but it would have to be unbelievably scary! Sounds like everything is going great and you LOVE your classes! We'll that makes me very happy!!Can't wait to come visit and spend time exploring together, Venice, Florence, Civita? We'll have fun! Miss you and sooo glad you get to have this expereince!!!!
