We are fat... or atleast we are in Italy

Okay, so today we went to the Spanish Steps which just happened to be at the center of a high end fashion district on Via Condotti. We saw just about every designer store possible, Gucci, Chanel, Cartier (which had the biggest diamond ring I have ever seen in the window) and it was great. Then we walked into a not-so-designer store, Chopin, which had ridiculously resonable prices. There was a cute shirt in there that both of us wanted to try on...but it only came in one size: not big enough for an american. Really it didnt look that small, but when we asked to try one on the woman refused to give us a dressing room because it only came in one size. She said we were too fat, well not exactly, but indirectly. I think she felt really bad afterwards, because she was really nice to us after.

Anyways, I like being a fat American, so in celebration of our fatness we ate at Roman McDonalds. They dont have the two cheeseburger meal, but they do have curly fries!! We also found coke this morning for a decent price; only €0,80, which is amazing compared to the €3,50 they charge at all of the street vendors. They dont have diet pepsi here though, which makes Marissa very sad, but coke has caffiene in it too so it will suffice.

I like being a fat American,

We are having a lot of fun here and tomorrow will consist of going to a giant flea market, and seeing a palace which many very good-looking italian men guard.

Later,

A&M
