I´d like to take the time to mention a few things that I have learned during my stay in Ecuador:

  • Grilled guiny pig is a delacasy
  • Always carry extra food with you to be able to bribe mean dogs
  • Your allowed to pick your nose on a bus and put whatever you can find on the seat in front of you
  • ALL garbage is thrown on the ground
  • When your asphalting roads you don´t have to smoothen it out
  • The Panama hat is from Ecuador
  • Very few cars are catalyst-equipped
  • I am a wondering dollar sign $
  • Never get on a bus while feeling nauseous
  • There are foreigners in Ecuador, people do actually imigrate to Ecuador
  • Everythings closed on Sundays
  • The post office may actually be closed on a Friday, but will reopen on a Saturday
  • If your starting to sell something be sure that everyone in your village will be selling the same shit in a couple of days

Good to know when going to Ecuador! And yes kids do play football (soccer) in the streets.

"And yes kids do play football (soccer) in the streets." That´s good enough for me because that´s the biggest language in the world :)
