Lake Tahoe and Back to Reno - Days 19 thru 22

After leaving the Black Rock Desert early in the morning on Monday, we spent the day in Reno unpacking our car, cleaning it, and then repacking it. Yeah, it took the whole day. We finally made it to Lake Tahoe to stay with some newly made friends Keven and Scully. A nice, dust free sleep was just what we needed…to make plans to hit a spa for a few days :o)

We cleaned ourselves and gear from dust and then headed back to Reno to the Siena Resort, Spa and Casino. They had a great package complete with massage, facial, mani, pedi and salt scrub. All were fantastic, except Dove had an allergic reaction to the salt scrub and had to cut it short. No worries, she’s fine, and they comped us all our drinks! There was also a wine cellar in the basement that we spent happy hours at, enjoying the fabulous tapas style food and wine. Every night, someone came around to your room and gave you cookies and pastries as well. It was really fun. An excellent way to recover from 10 days in the desert.

After an excellent breakfast in Reno on Thursday, we hopped in the car and headed to Oregon!
