Hong Kong, Hong Kong, where do I even begin?

Hong Kong is the place which never stops - you can have dim sum at 7am in the morning at the restaurants, go shopping until 11pm, eat at 2am in the morning and still be surrounded by kiddies and karoke until the next day!

Obviously, Hong Kong meant visiting family, eating loads (which was good after some weight loss in China - yep, be careful of the food there!) and blowing my travelling budget on shopping but it also allowed me to catch up with some university friends who had moved back to Hong Kong and who I had lost touch with over the years.

Always wanted to be a Bond girl - a Madame Tussaud's Bond girl obviously!

I also did a few touristy things like taking the tram up to Victoria Peak to see the view of Hong Kong from the top, visiting Madame Tussauds, taking the Star Ferry across to Hong Kong Island, riding on the 'ding ding' trams on Hong Kong Island and watching the laser light display of the high rise buildings on the Island.

I told my mum that from now on, each year I will come back to Hong Kong with 2 empty suitcases for 4 weeks to gain weight and stock up on clothes and Hello Kitty items!
