We purchased open bus tickets to travel to Mui Ne and on to Nha Trang. US$6 each for the Saigon to Mui Ne leg. Mui Ne is about 200km east of Saigon on the coast. We found ourselves a great resort on Mui Ne Beach called Suoi Tien Mui Ne Resort. Highly recomend.

We arrived at Mui Ne Beach and after some lunch found ourselves motor bike taxis to go searching for some accomodation. Can you imagine a small motor bike with a huge pack on the front and two passengers on the back. The great thing about looking for accomodation this way is the riders know what hotels fit your requirements and will wait until you run in and out of each place checking them out.

After a day and a half relaxing on the beach we rose at 4am to head for the famous sand dunes to watch the sun rise. Mui Ne has the White Sandunes, Red Sandunes, Lotus lake, Red Canyon, Fairy Springs, Fishing Villages, Markets among other things to visit. We saw all of the above sights as you will see from the photos. Mui Ne also has a tremendous amount of resturants to choose from.

One more day here we will hire a motorbike and head to Phan Thiet for an explore before heading to Nha Trang.
