Today we headed out for a cycle around the local area of Yangshuo. Today Dean was cruising on a scooter as his "knee was sore". Today we were completing some off road riding so it was quite entertaining to watch him manoevre through the mud and puddles from rain the night before. We were able to see more jagged limestone mountains as we rode through cool misty valleys. Because we had ventured off road we were able to see some of the farming methods up close which was good. We had a break near an ancient bridge where Yuan gave this cute little child some beanuts.

After the ride Annabel and I had the perfect relaxation, a one hour massage. The massage was great, nice and firm, little did I realise she actually bruised my back! Tonight we went and saw a light show which used the river and mountains as an impressive backdrop. It was simply breathtaking when they lit up the mountains for the first time. The entire show was extremely impressive and I recommend it to anyone within the area. I would only say it would have been nice to understand the storyline better, perhaps they could distribute flyers in different languages.
