Aaaahhhhh.   We made it.  After all the craziness of last week, it was great to get here and finally relax.  We relaxed for about one day, but since then we've been very busy.  We found a dive shop called Ecologic Divers, who we will dive with all month.  The owner is from Chicago, and is a great guy.  He is letting us use two pedal bikes for the month which will help us get around the island.  All the staff at the shop is fantastic - I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone visiting San Pedro.

On the first dive, Anne came in contact with Pica Pica and has a nasty rash.  Pica Pica is a type of jellyfish that you don't feel; until about 12 hours later when your skin blisters and looks like you have leprosy.  Also itches like poison ivy. Other than that, everything has been great.   Did our first night dive on 04/28/06 and saw an octopus, many moray eels, large groupers and tarpons, countless stingrays and much more.  Hopefully we will get some underh2o photos to share.

Very hot here.  You can buy chocolate chips, but be prepared for the "non" chip part.  Everything melts, including us.  The beach offers refuge with the cool, ocean breeze.
