After booking ourselves for our Corregidor boat trip, we hanged out in Chinatown, which is in Binondo, Manila. I always like visiting the place, it's colorful.
Ma'am Cinch and I first visited Binondo Church. Where our Patron Saint San Lorenzo Ruiz came from. We went to the known Estero to eat lunch. It was our first time to eat frog legs. Joeff met us up on the restaurant. He said we should try the Oyster Cake. It is chewy, and it was something new to my palette. It is made out of cassava flour with bits of oyster and fried which made it look like torta. After which we raided the Salazar Bake Shop, I love pastries so we had to go there. We bought some Tikoy and cakes. We hunted for the great "balm". hehe. Ma'am Cinch needed the "hottest". We were able to buy one at one of the Chinese drug stores. We roamed the streets of Chinatown. She also bought a figurine of an Ox, because it's her year. On the sidewalks, charms of all kinds are available, same with fruits. The pineapple is meant to be hung at entry doors in New Year.

We passed by Eng Bee Tin, for their famous Hopia. I love the red mongo. We also went to Juan Luna Street, window shopped a bit. We looked for mountaineering backpacks. And yes it's cheaper there, its almost part of Divisoria. We passed by a lady selling puppies. It was truly tempting to buy one.
After our street roaming galore, we snacked at Eng bee Tin, tried there Siopao with Ube bun and the fried wantons. In my own opinion it didn't taste good. hehe
We were planning to go to Intramuros, the Spanish Walled City but we lack the time so our Manila roaming ended there.
