Good morning.. good morning .. Good morning... What a view.

We had a great travel day today..  Woke up to a stunning view and it just put us all in a great mood... this is the most scenic park of all !

Headed off around 9ish and leisurely made our way north toward San Francisco on Highway 1 (the coast road)

Made a lot of stops along the way to take in the views and the weather was perfect.

What a stunning drive - stopped for lunch at Padaro, on the beach at Carpinteria.  Cool little casual place with excellent food and great wine.. (I love this not driving business.. although wine in the sun is a struggle staying awake on the bus).

Drove through the Big Sur and by that time the roads were pretty hairy and windy and it was dark.   Greg did 300 miles along the coast today .. I don't know how he drives that thing down those what appear to be at times never ending windy roads.. it's exhausting hanging on to my seat I tell you !

We saw some elephant seals on the beach on our drive today.  Pretty awesome.. these things were MASSIVE.. big big boys and girls.  That was a pretty special sighting.

We stopped driving around 8pm or so..  not far from San Francisco.
