It was lovely that friends came to see us off. Left Bristol with beautiful pink sunset en route to Dover. On the whole sailing very smooth even managed to buy essentials - light bulb accessory pack, Bombay sapphire and cigarettes. Had a quick glance at a map on the ferry and decided to head for beach at the break of dawn. Slept in the car for a few hours (well Lisa managed to) surrounded by road cleaners and tractors it must be the cleanest beach in the whole of the world! Found campsite and collapsed in Calais.
