Alice had to take the Renault to Tallinn for some maintenance so we jumped in for the ride. In order to get to Tallinn at a reasonable time, we were up early in order to catch the 8:30am ferry. It's a popular time to catch the ferry and it's first in first served so you have to make sure you're there early enough.

After dropping off the car, we met Alice's Mum and found a cheap place for lunch. This is hard to do in the middle of touristy Old Town, but local knowledge always helps. Alice took us to the Linnamuseum where we learnt more about what life was like back in the day in Tallinn; Finnish, Swedish, German and Soviet Occupations; even how women made clothes with limited resources during Soviet times (that part wasn't so interesting and the 80's flashbacks way too painful).

Alice needed to get some things from Stockmann (department store), which gave us a perfect opportunity to refuel our MTV generation minds with the TV we'd been deprived of ;-) Basically, we stood in front of a new plasma TV watching a DVD of the Foo Fighters live... exciting...

After a pizza for dinner and a look around a department store, we were off to catch the 8:30pm ferry back to Hiiumaa, watching the sunset over a beautiful calm sea.
