Everyone told me I had to check out the Woods Hole hostel, so after only 10 miles from town I did; just after 2 pm. It’s an old log home where the 89 year-old caretaker lives with her granddaughter. The matching out-building across the lawn serves as the hostel. Just after I arrived a big rain storm hit with thunder and lightning. We watched from the porch and played a game of clue with appropriate sound effects! Slept with the drumming of rain on the tin roof above. This morning we all had a big breakfast at the house and went on our way. Having a very long day to get to the post office before Sunday to pick up my box. It was thick with fog this morning but it cleared. Even in the mist, I did not get as wet as I have been getting other days from sweat.
