well after a long 20 hours ride we finally arrived at mendoza - a buetiful, relaxed city, the city which i was about to fall in love with.... after a short visit to the turist information we headed to a taxi with tons of names of hostels in our hands, but thank good the first hostel we stopped at was the one for us. confluensia hostel - good price, privte rooms and bathrooms, free internet and kitchen, and the most importent thing great people and no israelies!!!! anyhow we slept till noon - after all we didn´t sleep much in the ride it self... well when we woke we found out it´s a sunday and everything is closed, so we just walked around the main plaza, where we arrived to a street with a walk by name after the state of israel, with a big sign in hebrew and a big menorha and on top that a pegune with an olive branch - the sign of peace.... that made me feel so good, it put a smile on my face a began the why i fell in love with mendoza. well besides that mendoza was the first place in argentina where it really felt like suumer - just like back home!!! actually the only place till now... so that made me happy as well. this is summer time and in patagonia it is just like winter back home!!!! but even more windy!!! so finally i was happy and hot!!!! anyhow it´s sunday, all is closed and it´s hot outside, so what will girls do? go to the shopping mall!!!! so that was our first day....

on monday we went to a tour in the wineries - you might not know but mendoza is all about making wine!!! it was a great tour, we went to a big factory, and an oil factory as well (had great dried tomatos there) and to a small family winery with great wine - better then the big one... then like all our days in mendoza we went back to the hostel cocked dinner and went to sleep...

the next day we went to the huge park there is - park san martin!!! we took a bus around the park to see the big sites like cerro gloria - a mirador(view point) of all mendoza, the problem was that they spoke only spanish, we didn´t understand a thing!!!! anyhow there is also a zoo in the park - which was so funny, i guess the animals were at hit because they started making sounds, and trying to make babies.... anyhow very funny!!!

the day after we went just around mendoza to a mirador in the city - nothin much, to a nice aquriam, a nice musiem and at night we went to a party which was to be for mochileros - and ended up being the worst party ever, when mochileros ment us and 3 more israelies we new from the border at futalefu.... so the music was bad and the people as well, the locals tried to touch us and like well traveld irls we just escaped to the bathroom!!! but it was funny...

the next day neta and i took a tour to alta monatña - the high lands. we had a personal translator to english - mari a great women who made it a great day for us!!!! we saw so many buetiful things like the rivers and the cristo and the inca bridge - and all i can say is enjoy the photos!!! we even saw the highst mountain in south america!!!! anyhow because of the party we were a bit tired in the morning of the tour but after a bit breakfast - a cup of tea i woke up and the rest of the day was great!!! the best thing was gettin free hot choclate because of the high place we went to.... and the most beutiful thing was the inca bridge -  a natural bridge all in my favorite colors - orange and green!!!!! anyhow that was a great day for us!!!!

the next day was our last in mendoza and we went (at least neta and i) paragliding!!!! it was great!!!! just like flying like a bird. neta went first, which was funny because she was scared and the pilot (that´s hoe they call the guy you paraglide with) picked her - so everybody looked at her, i couldn´t stop laughing!!! anyhow you just need to run till the parashout lifts you up in the sky and then it´s smooth sailing... the things my belly ached because of the adrenalin rush!!!! it was great!!!! and it felt so good doing it. i´m not afraid of hights but never done it before and finding out how much fun it is and how unscarry it is - well that´s a really good feeling!!!! besides it´s allways fun to fly like a bird!!!! and that is about all we did in mendoza. i was so sad to leave her... after the paraglaidin we went eating at a huge all you can eat restorant and after that just ran to the bus to cordoba... to sum it all up - mendoza i wish i will be able to come back and live here!!! it´s a great relaxed city!!! and it has the second largest jewish comunity in argentina (the first is Buenos aires)....
