We are back in Rome!

Yesterday (November 20), we went to Santa Maria della Vittoria, where Bernini's "Ecstacy of St.Teresa" is. As some of you know, Monique read Dan Brown's "Angel & Demons" and this church is "important". Really nice church though.

Home stretch!

We then went to the "Crypt of the Capuchin Monks"... it is both creepy and amazing at once. It is hard to properly describe, but let's say that someone arranged the bones of some 4 000 monk. For sure, one of the most unique places we ever visited.

Today (November 21), we spent the day in the "ancient" Rome. We did a tour of the Coloseum, Forum & Palatine Hill. We greatly recommend taking a guided tour. The one we took was excellent and was done by "city certified" guides. Well worth the extra 10€. After the tours, we strolled to Circus Maximus and tried to go to the "Mouth of Truth", but the church where it is located closed about 10 minutes before we got there.

More to come soon!
