This city is out of control. I am here with my friend Chris who I worked with in Tokyo (he's from LA) and we're having a wonderful time. We just caught the end of Carnaval which was wonderful. The brother of a Brazilian friend of Chris's took us out with a group of his friends (all Brazilians, from either Rio or Sao Paulo) to Leblon, the nightlife part of town, for the last night of Carnaval. There was a huge ball for drag queens and we watched all of them work their way into the club. It was quite a night.
