The village of Aillas is sleepy, which is the polite way of saying hardly anything is ever open. But it looks beautiful.

Take a saunter through the village and take in the surrounding countryside too. There's some stunning scenery and a classic little church which looks great in photos.

As a place to see it's fairly unremarkable, but the nearby Dufreche is a wonderful place to stay and a very convenient base for seeing the local area. Hire a car, buy a map, and see what happens.
