Spent the morning getting ready to leave Sunrise Lagoon. It was overcast and the sea was choppy so none of us had our morning sea-bath.
We sat for ages waiting for our lunch, thinking that scarfing down our lunches and then jumping on a boat didn't sound too healthy. This was 'Fiji Time' to the extreme. We did finally get our lunches which were once again quite average. As poor as the facilities and food were at Sunrise, I still had a great time. The surroundings were beautiful and the staff and other travelers were wonderful. But then it was off to the boats and I was going to Wanna Taki Cruise. Air conditioning here I come!

It was another hour and a bit on the Yasawa Flier and then to the Wanna Taki Cruise boat. We had our briefing onboard and then it was up to the open deck for welcome cocktails! I got to have a shower, which itself was a beautiful thing, but I also got to shave my legs so it was a double bonus! I fell asleep for a little while since the a/c was sooo nice and the boat was gently rocking. When I woke up it was still overcast and windy and the sea was still quite choppy so there were no activities.

The food on Wanna Taki was really nice after the rice and rice we had at Sunrise but my stomach was not settled enough to fully enjoy it. After dinner I sat up and talked with Mary and Gavan, an Irish couple, Sinead and Olivia, 2 more Irish girls and Charles, from Melbourne Australia. It was really strange how similar Gavan and Charles were. All night most of us were just sitting in awe at these two guys off in their own little worlds!
Finally about 1am it was time to go back to the a/c and get rocked to sleep again.
