Hey All!!!

So, we haven't moved on fron San Juan yet...this place is not to shabby. After ajusting to the heat and getting over the jetlag of comming fron New Zealand, we have offically slid into being lazy bums...again. It has been great to stay in one place for more then just a few nights. This week has been all about getting a tan, practicing Spanish(I even got a tutor for a few hours), and fishing(well, at least for Jer). This afternoon, we are going to go on a sunset boat ride....nice. But guess what happened on my birthday??!! Jer was an excellent b-day planner. The water Taxi that was supposed to take us up the coast broke down, so we just jumped in a regular taxi and bailed up to Playa Majagual. It was an awesome beach with only a few people in the area. Once we got settled on the beach, we went for a quik swim and then it was all about building a sand castle. That's right, we spent my 20-something-th Birthday building a sandcastle on a simi-deserted beach in Nicaragua...sweet! Once that was done Jer had all sorts of surprises. He made some Pi\241a and rum drinks and bust out a birthday cake that he had made in town and carried with him out to the beach. Mmmm, b-day cake. Then I opened the gifts he got me(very nice) and we watched sunset. And the whole time the tide never got high enough to take down our castle...I'd bet that it is still there!!!

Anyway, we hope that all the Mom's out there had a Happy Mother's day!!!!

We will see our mom's again soon...nice!

Love, sarah and jer
